This home is located in LaGrange Illinois and underwent a dramatic transformation with new siding, roofing, and decorative finishes installed by Opal Enterprises.
The siding used in this project is James Hardie fiber cement siding. The homeowner chose a gorgeous gray color called Night Gray. It’s a part of James Hardie’s ColorPlus line, which offers outstanding longevity and an easy care finish. Both plank lap siding and staggered shingle siding were used for texture variation and style. The new Night Gray siding really makes the home pop. It also nicely accentuates the stone work.
The roof shingles were completely replaced. We installed GAF architectural shingles in the Williamsburg Slate color.

This is the HardieShingle installed with a staggered edge in the Cedarmill texture, giving it a natural wood look.
Here is the HardiePlank lap siding, also in Night Gray with Cedarmill texture. For the trim we used Hardie board in Arctic White.
After the siding is installed, we seal off the seams.
The caulk is specially designed for a perfect color match and ultimate weather resistance!

For the porch we installed HB&G permarail, decorative columns, a new porch ceiling, and all the right finishing touches.
We also installed a new ProVia door and replaced a few windows.
A perfect finish!
This is one of the first installations we’ve done with the new James Hardie Night Gray color. It turned out amazingly beautiful!
